Founded in 2007, sweetgreen is a destination for simple, seasonal, healthy food. They believe the choices we make about what we eat, where it comes from and how it’s prepared have a direct and powerful impact on the health of individuals, communities and the environment. As they were prepping to replace Host Analytics (Planly) for a budgeting, planning, forecasting, and financial reporting solution, they evaluated Anaplan and Adaptive Insights.

Sweetgreen went live in 2020 and has power users within the FP&A department and another 20+ cost center users for purposes of reviewing and forecasting G&A spend. We developed 3 main data cubes that the team is using for reporting and analaytics- an income statement cube, statistical (or KPIs) cube, and a third cube that houses all of our menu and ingredient cost data. Sweetgreens has plans to use Planning Analytics for nearly everything.
