Chris Courim
Co-Founder, Managing Partner
Chris Courim is a co-founder of CarpeDatum Consulting and has over twenty years
of experience providing strategic business intelligence and business performance
management solutions to companies large and small. Chris has a unique blend of financial,
managerial and technical experience that has enabled him to rapidly understand a
business’ needs, and deliver powerful value-added applications on time and on budget.
He has architected business performance management and business intelligence solutions
in the following industries; telecommunications, software, manufacturing, finance,
education, and publishing.
Prior to founding CarpeDatum Inc, Chris worked was a senior manager in charge of
financial planning & analysis for the $7.5 billion consumer division of MCI telecommunications.
He spent several years using and developing sophisticated planning and reporting
applications designed to integrate all aspects of the business. In his most recent
role at MCI, Chris was responsible for data warehousing and decision support applications
where he developed a series of very powerful analytic applications designed to support
sales, marketing, and finance.
Chris has been a speaker at various Business Intelligence and financial forecasting
conferences. He has a master's degree in Finance from the University of Denver and
is a Certified Microsoft Professional with a specialization in Business Intelligence.
